About

Artist Picture

Caroline’s sculptures explore the emotional connections we share with the natural world, using animals as her primary form of expression. Some pieces are playful and lighthearted, while others aim to stir discomfort or sadness, letting animal forms become landscapes for emotional nuance.

Crafted from metal, clay, wood, and mixed media, each piece employs various techniques, such as metal casting, welding, woodworking, ceramics, and mold making. She uses specific materials along with unique settings and interactions to imbue them with layers of meaning, inviting connection beyond their physical presence.

Her work often touches on mental health and the tensions within human relationships. Central to her practice is the wish for viewers to feel seen as they are. By channeling emotion through animal forms, She hopes to spark reflection, foster a deep sense of connection, and remind viewers they are not alone in what they feel.
